Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The room was a bit overpriced at €330 for just one midweek night and had some disturbance from the adjacent storage room in the morning. On a positive note, the room featured a luxurious rainforest showerhead and handheld wand, which was a nice touch.
I stayed at the hotel and found it to be a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit run down and in need of a refresh, but we did appreciate the upgrade we received. The service was attentive and thoughtful, although a little slow at times. The location had its drawbacks with noise and lack of relaxation areas but did have a classic old-world charm. The dining experience was exceptional in terms of local produce variety, despite a minor cleanliness issue. Overall, a stay with ups and downs.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were perfect, with a rainforest showerhead and handheld wand, and had a lovely Christmas tree with a nice view of the garden. However, I ended up paying for two breakfasts while having a single bed. The service was outstanding, with friendly and efficient staff, especially John, who I believe is an assistant manager. The location was ideal, near the university with an easy walk to the city center, though it could be a bit closer. The dining experience was one of the best I've had in a hotel, but a bit pricey. The facilities were top-notch, offering a variety of services like room service and valet parking.
The hotel has its highs and lows, with gorgeous rooms and superb service, but some noise issues in the location and a disappointing dining experience. It offers good value for money overall.
The hotel was a bit disappointing overall. While the service was excellent and the staff were friendly, the rooms were opposite a noisy storage area and not up to the standard expected for a 5-star hotel. The location was a bit out of the way but had its charms.
